PRESENTATION
A Human-Centred Approach to Early Intervention
What happens when we reimagine the way that we facilitate Early Intervention, when we uproot Return to Work Plans; and when we inspire a holistic and human-centred approach? To delve into the thought further, what happens when we consider an individual’s strengths, culture and community; and how these factors all lead to sustainable return to work outcomes and recovery. A Human-Centred Approach to Early Intervention will expose known drivers of employee distress and a novel framework to supporting ill, injured and/or disadvantaged persons, and the role that personal strengths, culture and community play in an individual’s return to work or coping at work. The presentation will further illuminate the health inequalities of marginalized and vulnerable groups, including those who identify as gender diverse, within the LGBTQI+ community and /or culturally and linguistically diverse.
