Alexa has worked in the occupational rehabilitation and employment services industries since 2008 in various roles including employer return to work coordinator, insurance injury management advisor, and rehabilitation consultant. She has experience working across Worker’s Insurance, CTP, NDIS, Lifetime Care and Support, Comcare, Disability Employment Services, and Life Insurance schemes. For the past eight years, Alexa has worked in management roles in the occupational rehabilitation and employment services sector leading teams of allied health consultants working across compensable and non-compensable schemes.
Alexa is a Rehab Counsellor and has dedicated her career to working to support injured workers and disabled persons to achieve their employment goals. Her strengths are in technical knowledge of insurance schemes and coaching of allied health staff in order to achieve durable return to work outcomes for individuals, employers, and insurers.
Alexa completed undergraduate studies including a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) at the University of NSW. Following this, Alexa completed a Graduate Diploma in Rehab Counselling at Sydney University. She has also been a member of the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) since 2012 and is a current ASORC Director.

Managing Workplace Psychological Injury
An outline of the prevalence of mental health in Australia and workplace psychological injury as well as the importance of employers having a proactive psychological injury management strategy in place when claims occur. Examining the key drivers of psychological injury claims and common return to work barriers, this presentation provides practical strategies on how to manage common psychological injuries and bullying and harassment claims.
