Simonie has a background in oncology nursing and occupational rehabilitation and has over 20 years’ experience working in the insurance industry in both workers compensation and life insurance. She joined AIA 7 years ago. Simonie has a strategic role and is responsible for the claims wellbeing customer value proposition and she is also responsible for the shared value strategy at AIA Australia.

She is passionate about supporting customers with mental health conditions, cancer and chronic pain.
